SoHi takes down Nikiski in dual meet

The Stars won a tight wrestling dual over Nikiski 45-37 Wednesday night at Nikiski High School.

Soldotna grapplers recorded five pins, which amounted to 30 points, as Logan Craig (98 pounds), Gideon Hutchison (113), Bechler Metcalf (145), Talon Musgrave (152), and Emmanuel Van Hout (160) all pinned their opponents.

Nikiski, meanwhile, had four pins, as T.J. Cox (120 pounds), Justin Cox (138), Nathan Carstens (170) and Tyler Litke (220) all won with takedowns.
