■ The Homer-based Whirling Rainbow Foundation and Grandmother Drum International Peace Project will have a fundraising CD release concert at the Sterling Community Center from 4-7 p.m. Dec. 20 for its newest CD, “Holy Ground.” This CD was recorded in 8 countries and 15 locations and unites many cultures through sacred music. ■ The Klimpke Christmas light display is back up to view through Jan. 1, 2016. Viewing times are 5:00-10:30 p.m. Santa will be making his appearances Dec. 20-23 from 6-8 p.m. You will be able to meet Comet and Crash the reindeer on the Dec. 23 from 6-8. ■ Peninsula Art Guild presents “Take Me Deeper,” a show about worship featuring artists Sharon Heselius, Rene Gervais, Stephanie Alward, Joy Alexander, Rick Cupp, Moira Ireland, Lori Sisson, Dot Hagen-May, and Cyndye Brower. This show is worship-based art in multiple mediums. Also on display is the annual KFAC Student Show containing works from Kenai Peninsula Borough students in a wide variety of mediums. ■ An all acoustic jam takes place every Thursday.
