Anticipation

Burgers, hot dogs and fries

are ready to go.

(Watch out for flies.)

Toppings are added one by one.

Make sure to leave room for a ton.

Onions, too?

Fried or raw,

delicious, it’s true.

M.I.A. is the scarlet stream of catsup.

The bottle is stubborn; will not pour.

Tap the bottom; give it more!

Anticipation gets old.

Really shake the thing, I’m told.

Suddenly, a cacophony of embarrassing sounds.

Catsup soon abounds!

The crimson puddle spreads with a plop.

Fries round out the meal.

Now we’re on an even keel.

Wait-worthy condiment Number One.

Anticipation is over,

Eat and have fun!
