Kenai Cinema announces discounted summer movie program

On Wednesdays and Thursdays, an animated children’s film and a “Harry Potter” film will be played at 10 a.m.

The Kenai Cinema will host an eight-week Family Summer Movie Series starting Wednesday, June 21. For eight weeks, on Wednesdays and Thursdays, an animated children’s film and a “Harry Potter” film will be played at 10 a.m. with $2 admission.

According to a release from Coming Attractions Theatres, the company that owns the Kenai Cinema, the discounted admission will be offered to all attendees limited only by auditorium capacity. A discounted combo will also be available at the concessions stand.

Each of the eight “Harry Potter” films will be shown through the series, one each week. The animated films are distributed by Universal, Paramount and WarnerMedia, including “Minions,” “Sonic the Hedgehog,” “Trolls” and “The Lego Movie.”
