Matthew Lincoln Quiner and Angeline Morrill Quiner of Kenai announce the birth of their daughter, Abbigael Estelle Quiner, at 2:02 p.m. Sept. 11, 2014. She weighed 6 pounds, 13.7 ounces and measured 19 3/4 inches. Her siblings are Lochlan H. (15), Cecily P. (12), Boden M. (11), Liam J. (9), Thayne I. (7), Aiden T. (5), and Tryg I (3). Her grandparents are Patricia Janet Morrill of Tuftonboro, New Hampshire and Colleen Athalia Quiner of Dallas, Oregon.

Zackery Pearson and Jessica Crump announce the birth of their son, Noah Eugene Lee Pearson, at 6:34 p.m. on Sept. 9, 2014. He weighed 9.06 pounds and measured 21 inches. He joins siblings Kyler Pearson, Layla Pearson, Daisy Pearson, and Gracelyn Moore. His grandparents are Jolene Campbell of Wasilla, Eugene Juliussen Jr. of Kenai, Ed Pearson of Kasilof, and Holly Hays of Idaho.

The Community page is a way to highlight activities and events that happen with a photo. If your group or organization has a photo of an event to share, submit the photo and the following information for print: Who took the photo, who’s in it, when and where it was taken, a brief description of what’s happening, and a name and phone number in case we have questions.
