Larson commits to University of Wisconsin-Superior

Former Kenai River Brown Bears player Andy Larson announced his commitment to Division III University of Wisconsin-Superior late last week.

Larson played with the Brown Bears for three seasons.

In 2022-23, Larson, a forward, joined the team after high school and played 11 games, notching an assist.

In 2023-24, Larson played in 60 games and had 15 goals and 17 assists. Last season, Larson served as a captain for Kenai River and played in 57 games, collecting 11 goals and 26 assists.

Last season, Wisconsin-Superior went 19-5-3 and won the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular season championship.

Head coach Richard McKenna will be in his 10th season at the helm this season.
