Nels Dahl wins 3rd Soldotna Cycle Series race of season

Nels Dahl won the third Soldotna Cycle Series race of the season Thursday at Tsalteshi Trails just outside of Soldotna.

Dahl finished the 12-kilometer course in 39 minutes, 12 seconds, less than a second ahead of runner-up Colton Tuia. Morgan Aldridge was the top woman, and fourth overall, at 40:56.

Tyler Tuia notched the victory in the 6-kilometer race, turning a time of 23:15.

The fourth race of the series will be Thursday, July 31. Registration is at 5:45 p.m. and is $5 for Tsalteshi Trails Association members and $10 for nonmembers. The race starts at 6:15 p.m.
