Kenai to celebrate Independence Day with annual parade

With the Fourth of July right around the corner, the Kenai Chamber of Commerce is getting ready for their annual holiday parade. The parade will start on Trading Bay Road and will end on Main Street. There will be a carnival and other festivities on the Green Strip.

The parade will start and the Green Strip will open at 11 a.m. The live music will begin at noon and goes until 4 p.m. Along with live music there will be vendors, food trucks and waters games. The water games will be put on by the Kenai Fire Department.
