SoHi graduate Tuisaula completes season with loss in NCAA tourney

Soldotna High School graduate Ituau Tuisaula competed her senior season with Stephen F. Austin in Nagocdoches, Texas, on March 21 with a 106-54 loss to Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish were the No. 3 seed, while the Lumberjacks (29-6) were seeded No. 14.

Tuisaula appeared in all 30 games for the Lumberjacks, averaging 10 minutes, 2.3 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.

Stephen F. Austin had defeated Southeastern Louisiana to secure a 17th Southland Conference championship and a 19th NCAA Tournament appearance, and first since 2022.
