Jims’ Landing boat ramp on the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, near Skilak Loop’s east entrance, will be closed for construction for much of March.

According to a release from the refuge, the closure will be implemented March 6 and remain in effect until March 26.

Construction will continue through the spring and summer, but the release says that the ramp will remain open.
