1 dead in Sterling Highway collision

A head-on collision at Mile 90 of the Sterling Highway early Monday morning has resulted in one fatality.

Alaska State Troopers were dispatched to the scene of the collision in Sterling at 5:35 a.m.

Traffic is being diverted around the scene via side roads as investigation of the accident is expected to take several hours.
