Poet’s Corner: Wheels keep turning

Whirling twirling wheels go round

Spinning us across the ground

Babies in carriages make no sound

Soothing ride up and down

Kiddie cars propelled by feet

Give tots freedom down the street

Skate boards, scooters, two wheel bikes

Peddling fast all day til night

ATVs stir up the dust

Annoyed dogs bark like they must

Motors take us farther yet

Cars zoom by just like a jet

Over mountains and fields they go

Even faster are trucks you know

Time goes on we drive no more

A chair on wheels makes us slow

Still whirling twirling wheels go round

Spinning us across the ground
