SoHi JV basketball sweeps CIA

The visiting Soldotna JV girls and boys basketball teams swept Cook Inlet Academy on Monday in nonconference action.

The CIA girls dropped to 5-11 overall with a 45-2 loss to the Stars. For SoHi, Sadie Lane had 13, Regan Hunt had 10, Kaitlyn McAnelly had eight, Morgan Lemm and Anaulie Sedivy had six, and Zayra Poage had two.

For the Eagles, Tatum Rozak had two.

The CIA boys lost 52-37 to the Stars to fall to 7-8 overall.

For the Stars, Will Inman had 10, Hamilton Hunt and Derrick Jones had eight, Andrew Pieh had six, Blake Inger had five, Parker Rose had four, Zac Buckbee had three, and Gavin Jones and Lokeni Wong each had two.

For the CIA boys, James Boyd poured in 24, while Jeremiah Dillingham had eight and Abraham Henderson had five.
