Ostrander takes 5th in Sound Running 5K

Allie Ostrander, a 2015 graduate of Kenai Central High School, finished fifth in Heat 2 of the women’s 5,000-meter run Saturday night at the Sound Running Track Meet in Los Angeles.

Ostrander, who runs for Brooks Beasts Track Club, dropped her outdoor 5K time to 15 minutes, 18.45 seconds, in the event. Grace Barnett of Mammoth Track Club won the race in 15:12.17.
