Allie Ostrander, a 2015 Kenai Central graduate now living in Seattle, set a new course record in winning the Three Corner Rock 50K in Washington state on Saturday, Sept. 2.

Ostrander finished at 4 hours, 43 minutes and 51 seconds at the race, which takes place on the Pacific Coast Trail. She was second overall, with Ari Klau taking the men’s victory at 4:29:57. It was the longest race of Ostrander’s career.

Sarah Allaben was the second woman, and third overall, at 5:04:08.

Ostrander is sponsored by Nnormal and has said on her YouTube channel that she plans to get into more trail running.
