Bristol Bay girls, Cordova boys win at Ninilchik Invitational

The Bristol Bay girls and Cordova boys basketball teams picked up wins Wednesday at the first day of the Ninilchik Invitational.

The Bristol Bay girls nipped the Wolverines 34-33. Olivia Harvilla paced the Angels with 18 points, while Katie Pallas had 10 for Cordova.

The Wolverines dominated the boys game to the tune of 73-13. Jaykob Thorne and Wyatt Sorenson each had 12 for Cordova. Navi Gamble paced Bristol Bay with six.

Today, the Bristol Bay girls face Tri-Valley at 12:30 p.m., the Bristol Bay boys face Tri-Valley at 2 p.m., the Cordova girls tip off with Nenana at 3:30 p.m., the Cordova boys play Nenana at 5 p.m., the Ninilchik girls go against Tri-Valley at 6:30 p.m. and the Ninilchik boys tip off with Tri-Valley at 8 p.m.
