SoHi’s Buchanan to wrestle at Morningside

Soldotna High School’s Ryan Buchanan has committed to wrestle for Morningside University in Sioux City, Iowa.

Buchanan finished his high school career for the Stars by placing third at 119 pounds at the Division I state tournament at the Alaska Airlines Center in December.

The Mustangs compete in NAIA in the Great Plains Athletic Conference. Morningside was second in the Great Plains Conference tournament last season, sending four wrestlers to the NAIA national championships.
