Soldotna senior Annie Burns announced last week that she has committed to continue her cross-country and track career at University of Tennessee at Martin.

The Skyhawks compete at NCAA Division I in cross-country and track in the Ohio Valley Conference.

Burns ran at the Division I state cross-country meet for three years, posting her best finish this year at 37th.

As an individual, she also made the Division I state track and field meet as a freshman in the 800 meters, as a sophomore in the 400 and 800 meters, and as a junior at the 800 meters.
