Rain postpones Oilers-Miners doubleheader

The doubleheader between the Mat-Su Miners and the Peninsula Oilers scheduled for Saturday at Hermon Brothers Field in Palmer did not happen due to rain.

There now will be a Monday doubleheader between the Miners and Oilers at 4 p.m.

The Oilers jump back into action Sunday at 4 p.m. against the Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks at Lee Jordan Field in Chugiak.
