Johnson to run at Colorado Christian

Soldotna senior Nate Johnson signed his National Letter of Intent to run for Colorado Christian University on Friday at Soldotna High School.

The Cougars compete in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference at the NCAA Division II level.

Johnson lettered in cross-country running, basketball, and track and field for the Stars. He is the reigning Region III and Division I state champion at 400 meters. He also is the reigning region champ in the 800, and was a member of the region champion 1,600-relay team.
