Nikiski graduate Thompson named Female Athlete of Year at Highline

Rachel Thompson, a 2015 Nikiski graduate, was named the Female Athlete of the Year for Highline Community College in Des Moines, Washington, on Friday night. Thompson also was given a Student-Athlete of Excellence Award.

Thompson plays goalkeeper for Highline’s women’s soccer program. Next season, she will take her game to Division I Washington State.
