West Valley boys soccer topples Soldotna

The West Valley boys soccer team defeated Soldotna 4-0 on Friday at The Dome in Anchorage.

West Valley improved to 2-0 on the young season, while the Stars dropped to 0-1.

For West Valley, which led 2-0 at halftime, Seth Thomas had a pair of goals, while Vaughn Simpson and Garrett Crane added tallies. Kristaps Bareika had the shutout in net for West Valley, which had 14 shots on goal to Soldotna’s six.
