Homer wrestling takes 6th at Monster Bash tourney

The Homer wrestling team took sixth place at the Monster Bash Duals on Friday and Saturday in Anchorage.

Homer lost to Colony 60-12, defeated Service 45-16, lost to Wasilla 54-23, lost to Palmer 51-21, lost to South 60-18, defeated Kodiak 34-30, defeated Eagle River 52-30 and lost to Lathrop 45-35.

Seth Inama went 8-0 at 125 pounds and Jadin Mann went 7-0 at 285 pounds to lead Homer, while Wayne Newman was 7-1 at 140.

There also was a Women’s Monster Bash Tournament. Mischelle Wells at 130 and McKenzie Cook at 160 took first for the Mariners in Day 2 wrestling at the event.
