SoHi’s Lepule to play football at Eastern New Mexico University

Soldotna senior Kenai Lepule signed in early February at play football at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales.

The Greyounds play Division II football in the Lone Star Conference. The squad finished 3-8 overall last season, and 1-8 in the league.

Lepule was named the Lineman of the Year for Division II in both 2023 and 2024. In both years, Lepule helped the Stars to the Division II state title.

In 2024, Lepule and the Stars had to go through Lathrop senior Oschaun Easaw, the Division II Offensive Player of the Year, in the state final. Easaw also signed with Eastern New Mexico.
