The next True Tales, Told Live will be held Friday, April 12 at The Goods Sustainable Grocery starting at 6:30 p.m.

Titled “Good as it Gets,” this session will be themed around “stories of making do, making up and making the most of it,” according to a release. Each installment of True Tales, Told Live features local storytellers sharing real stories about things that happened to them without using notes.

The event, long held multiple times a year before the COVID-19 pandemic, returned from hiatus last year with “In A Pickle” in May and “Lucked Out” in October.

Admission is free, though seats are limited. On Facebook, the group wrote that it’s “not a bad idea to bring your own chair.”

There are also still spots available for storytellers — those with a suitable story can contact jneyman@kdll.org or kaitlin@inletkeeper.org to sign up.

For more information, find “True Tales Told Live” on Facebook. Some previous storytelling sessions can be streamed at kdll.org.
