Sunday: Rain washes out Oilers-Chinooks

The Alaska Baseball League game between the Peninsula Oilers and Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks did not take place Sunday at Lee Jordan Field in Chugiak due to rain.
The Oilers also had a Saturday doubleheader against the Mat-Su Miners at Hermon Brothers Field in Palmer postponed by the rain.
Peninsula will look to jump back into action Monday with a 4 p.m. doubleheader against the Miners at Hermon Brothers Field in Palmer.
