Seward volleyball tops Nikiski

The host Seward volleyball team topped Nikiski 26-24, 25-23, 21-25 and 25-19 on Friday in Southcentral Conference action.

The Seahawks improve to 1-1 in the conference and 1-2 in nontournament play. The Bulldogs fall to 0-2 in the league and 1-2 overall.

Kailey Stynsberg had 14 digs for the Bulldogs, while Savanna Stock, Ashlynne Playle and Alexa Iyatunguk each had five kills and Playle had six aces.
