The Anchorage Wolverines lost the Robertson Cup final to the New Jersey Titans 3-0 on Tuesday at Fogerty Arena in Blaine, Minnesota.

The Wolverines were trying to become the first North American Hockey League team in 36 years to win the Robertson Cup in their first season.

The first period ended scoreless, but New Jersey outshot Anchorage 14-7.

In the second period, New Jersey solved Anchorage goaltender Raythan Robbins, who had been red hot in the playoff run, twice.

The Titans scored again in the third period and Andrew Takacs wrapped up a 31-save shutout. Robbins stopped 37.
