All but four schools in the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District will begin late on Tuesday due to inclement weather and road conditions.

According to a press release from the district, all schools but Nanwalek, Port Graham, Seldovia and Tyonek will begin with a two-hour delay Tuesday. The school day ends at normal time.

If conditions worsen and warrant a full school closure, the announcement will be made at 7 a.m. on Tuesday. In addition, all pre-kindergarten sessions in the morning and afternoon are canceled.
