CIA finishes 3rd at Tri-Valley tourney

The Cook Inlet Academy coed soccer team finished 3-1 at the Tri-Valley Tournament to take third place.

Friday, CIA lost to undefeated Susitna Valley 4-0. Later that afternoon, CIA defeated Nenana 3-2 on three goals from Noah Castenholz.

That put the Academy in the third-place game against Tri-Valley. CIA won 4-2, with Castenholz scoring three goals to finish the tournament with eight goals. Dmitri Marlowe added a goal for CIA.

CIA plays on the road this week, with Su Valley on Friday and Lumen Christi on Saturday.
