Soldotna police, fire departments make for special memorial

Recently we attended the funeral for Lee Aley, it was an intimate family and friend affair, and on the way to Lee’s Veterans Memorial, Dan Grimes organized the Soldotna police department and fire department to aid in an honorable escort for his procession. They stopped traffic and made this a very beautiful and memorable event for the Aley family. Thank you so much for all of the time and attention you took out of your day for this beautiful memorial.

How lucky are we to live in such a small and caring community with law enforcement and protectors going above and beyond … props to you!
