Run Into Summer results posted

The second week of the Run Into Summer series saw nine runners race a 5-kilometer loop Tuesday in downtown Kenai. Ten-year-old Karalyn Veideffer crossed the finish line as the winner in 27 minutes, 46 seconds, with men’s winner and runner-up Matt Brown finishing 2:02 behind.
The series will run three more times before the month of June ends, with races taking place Tuesday evenings at the Kenai Cultural and Visitor Center.
