Veihdeffer puts up top time at Run Into Summer

Karalyn Veihdeffer put up the top time Tuesday at the Run Into Summer 5K series in Old Town Kenai. Veihdeffer covered the course in 29 minutes, 58 seconds, for the victory.

The series is put on by the Kenai Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center. The last race will be June 26. Registration starts at 5:30 p.m., while the run starts at 6 p.m. The price is $45 for a family, $20 for those 16 and over, $10 for those 6 to 15 and free for those 5 and under.
