In A Future Tense

Time can fly

I’ve seen it go by

with a joy that’s always fleeting.

And so it goes

Time always slows

at a Board of Fisheries meeting.

In all the lands

with unstoppable hands

Time is ever sweeping.

So Anchorage is kept

perfectly swept

tho’ the pace is surely creeping.

There is a quote

of fiscal note,

“Time is money” this truism offers.

Thus Time is poured

into the Fish Board

but nary a dime in Kenai coffers.
