Salmon Run Series starts Wednesday

The first race of the five-race Salmon Run Series will be Wednesday at the Skyview Middle School trailhead of Tsalteshi Trails.

The five-kilometer races will be every Wednesday through Aug. 3.

Rage registration starts at 5 p.m. at the starting line, or register online at kenaiwatershed.org. The cost is $10 per race online or $15 for on-site registration. Online, racers can also get all five races for $45.

The races start right after the one-kilometer kids race, which costs $5, at 6 p.m.
