Soldotna council taps Cashman for open seat

By a vote of 4-1 the Soldotna City Council elected Timothy Cashman Jr., to a vacant council seat.

Cashman Jr. beat applicant Dan Nelson for appointment to council seat F during Tuesday’s council meeting. The seat was vacated by newly-elected mayor Pete Sprague.

Cashman’s term will end on Oct. 16, 2016.
