Oilers-Bucs rained out, doubleheader scheduled

Due to wet weather, Wednesday’s Alaska Baseball League contest between the Peninsula Oilers and Anchorage Bucs was postponed. The Oilers and Bucs will play a doubleheader Thursday at Coral Seymour Memorial Park, starting at 5 p.m. The second game is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Oilers are two games behind the Bucs in the ABL American League standings, and a sweep of their northern rivals is crucial in hopes of winning the pennant.
