The annual event is held for two purposes, Hamann said. "It can bring people to Christ" and bless people on their rides for the rest of the year. "We look forward to this. There are a few people that might need it more than me," Anderson said with a laugh. "We have a couple new ones this year, who didn't know what to expect." Anderson said he has been attending the blessing for nearly two decades, and drove from Ninilchik Sunday morning.
