On Oct. 19, the Pink Ribbon Rally Committee presented a check in the amount of $26,000 to the Central Peninsula Health Foundation Breast Cancer Fund to be used for local breast cancer patients and to further awareness and prevention of this devastating disease. Funds were raised with the 10th Anniversary Pink Ribbon Rally Golf Event held on Aug. 2 at the Birch Ridge Golf Course.
