A collision between a four-wheeler and a pickup truck on Tuesday evening sent one person to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Around 8:45 p.m., a Ford F-150 truck collided with an ATV near Mile 21 of Kalifornsky Beach Road, close to Polar Street.
Central Emergency Services and the Alaska State Troopers responded to the scene. The person riding the ATV, a teenage boy, was transported to Central Peninsula Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, said CES Captain Terry Bookey. The driver in the truck was not injured, he said.
“It looked like the truck would still be able to drive off,” he said.
CES does not determine the cause of an accident, Bookey said. A trooper was not available to comment Tuesday night.
More details will be shared as they become available.
