A preliminary mangitude 4.7 earthquake was reported at approximately 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, 3 miles southwest of Kasilof, according to the University of Alaska Fairbanks Alaska Earthquake Center. Preliminary depth of the quake is about 34 miles.
