Area students make University of Alaska Southeast Chancellor’s, Dean’s lists

Students from the central Kenai Peninsula have earned academic honors at the University of Alaska Southeast in Juneau.

Elise D. Weber has been named to the Chancellor’s List, which includes students who have earned a 4.0 GPA.

Caleb M. Lyons and Margaret A. Shalit were named to the Dean’s List, which includes students with a 3.5-3.99 GPA.

Rohl makes Iowa State Dean’s List

Luke Alan Rohl of Soldotna, a senior studying Software Engineering, has been named to the spring semester 2017 Dean’s List at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. Students named to the Dean’s List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.

Gabler named to Dean’s List at Gustavus Adolphus College

Claire Gabler of Soldotna has been named to the Spring Semester Dean’s List at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota. The list comprises students who have earned a 3.7 grade point average (based on a scale in which 4.0 = A) or higher for the semester ending in May 2017.
