In Oct. 29’s article regarding the governor’s proposal to tap into the permanent fund to balance the state’s budget, nowhere did it mention cutting the budget. There is far too much government in our lives as it is. You can have some of our PFD when you drastically cut salaries, vacation and sick days, and unnecessary pork.
