A trio of children vandalized Mountain View Elementary School, Kenai Police said Thursday.

According to a dispatch, Mountain View staff who arrived at the school on Monday, June 2, found “significant damage,” including broken windows, computer monitors, tablets and laptops, food thrown around the kitchen, expletives written on the walls in marker and feces on the floor, among “various other broken and damaged items.”

A police investigation, the dispatch says, found that the damage was done by three young children, aged 9, 8 and 4. Because of their ages, no arrests were made — though the dispatch says parents were called and the case was forwarded to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
