Births – Brewers welcome son
Jim and Traci Brewer of Nikiski announce the birth of their son, Mason Jack Brewer, at 10:32 a.m. on May 18, 2015 at Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna. He weighed 8 pounds, 8.5 ounces and measured 21 inches. He joins brothers Shane Timothy and James Ryan. His grandparents are Timothy and Roberta O’Brien and Joan Brewer and the late Jack Brewer, all of Nikiski.

Byerley earns honors at Missouri S&T
Erica Beth Byerley, a senior, chemical engineering major from Sterling, has been named to the honor list for the Fall 2015 semester at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri. To be included on the honor list, students must have carried a minimum of 12 hours and had grade point averages of 3.2 or above out of a possible 4.0.
UAF names Chancellor’s List, Dean’s List students
Students from the central Kenai Penisula have been named to the Chancellor’s List and Dean’s List at the University of Alaska Fairbanks for the Fall 2015 semester. Students receiving a 3.9 grade point average or higher are placed on the chancellor’s list, while those receiving a grade point average of between 3.5 and 3.89 are named to the deans’ list.

Events, wedding, engagement and birth submissions may not be older than six months. Wedding anniversary announcements are printed in five-year increments beginning with the 20th.
