Aldridge takes overall win at 5th Soldotna Cycle Series race of season

Morgan Aldridge took the overall win at the fifth race of the Soldotna Cycle Series on Thursday, Aug. 7, at Tsalteshi Trails just outside of Soldotna.

Aldridge completed the 12-kilometer course in 32 minutes, 40 seconds. Nels Dahl was second, and the first man, in 34:17.

Brayden Tuia took the 6-kilometer event in 21:50.

The sixth race of the series will be Thursday, Aug. 14, at the Skyview Middle School trailhead at Tsalteshi.

Registration is at 5:45 p.m. and is $5 for Tsalteshi Trails Association members and $10 for nonmembers. The race starts at 6:15 p.m.
