Open letter from Olivia, the Kenai kitty who needs a new home
Published 2:19 pm Monday, July 9, 2018
My name is Olivia. My dad has to leave to start another business in the lower 48 and he can’t take me with him. I’m very sad, as I know he is. Do you know anyone who could give me a good home?
I’m clean. I go outside in the spring, summer and fall through a cat door, but like to stay inside during the cold months. I am 2 years old. I love people and am very friendly.
I don’t bite except when someone bites me. I won’t have kittens because my dad had me fixed. I didn’t even know I was broken but he did anyway.
I like to bring shrews home to dad but he doesn’t seem as excited as I am. He puts a bell on my neck so I don’t chase birds. I don’t know what the big deal is. They seem to want me to chase them but they keep going up in the air.
I know I could love you if you could love me. Maybe not as much as my dad, but we could have lots of fun. I will miss my dad but he said he would come and visit me if you would allow that. He also said he would give you a big supply of what I like to eat. I will be grateful for whatever you choose for me. I really like tuna! I hope I hear from someone.
Thank you!
My number is 907-398-1765. (My dad will answer because people have a hard time understanding me on the phone).
Sincerely,
Olivia
