Despite gray skies and rainy weather, the Kenai Spur Highway was lined with green at the annual Soldotna St. Patrick’s Day parade Saturday. The parade, which began at 1 p.m., traveled along the highway spreading luck and candy to local families.

Participants in this year’s parade ranged from classrooms to race drivers, with a few girl scouts and cheerleaders in between.
