West Valley boys soccer defeats Soldotna

The West Valley boys soccer team defeated Soldotna 3-2 on Friday at The Dome in Anchorage in nonconference action.

The Stars scored twice in the first half, but the Wolfpack came back with three second-half goals.

Soldotna coach Darryl Byerley said that, because it was his team’s first time out of the gym, he was very happy with the way they played. The only disappointing part of the game was the final score.
