After losing to Soldotna on Friday, the Palmer volleyball team came back to top the Stars 3-0 in Northern Lights Conference action Saturday.
The Stars fell to 1-5 in the conference and 5-6 overall with a 25-22, 25-21 and 25-13 loss. SoHi coach Luke Baumer said in a text message that Palmer changed its plan from Friday night.
Katelyn Morrison had eight kills for the Stars, while Kiara Forkner had 19 digs, Nicole Dickinson had 15 assists and Clare Henry had three aces.
Seward 3, Houston 1
The visiting Seahawks moved to 3-2 in Southcentral Conference play and 3-3 overall with a 21-25, 25-16, 25-18 and 25-16 victory over Houston on Saturday.
